Round Annapurna Trek

The Highest pass in the world, “Thorong la” is the major attraction of Round Annapurna trek.  Blue colored Tilicho lake, trek to wide Annapurna Range side by side, Manang village, walking between hills along with Marsyandi river, Muktinath temple & lifestyle of typical himalayna peoples are another focus point in this trial. During your trek small tea houses & guesthouse welcomes you for night stay . Along side you see farm of himalayan yaks, long haired sheep & Donkeys. Mainly donkeys are used for transpiration & sheep -yaks are used for milk /meat. During Annapurna Round trek chat with locals, their innocent smile, childrens activities, their way of living raze different feeling inside any visitors.

Your connection to big crowd, traffic noise, tall buildings, shopping in supermarkets will replaced by no polluted atmosphere, crystal clear sky with stars & gallexey, blow of wind & mind blowing sunrise/sunset.

Day Trip Discription Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Kathmandu – Besisahar (950m) – Dharapani (1860m) Early in the morning transfer by bus to Besisahar (950 m). 5 hrs drive. Then transfer to Dharapani by Sharing jeep. View of Tilje Peak.
Night in Lodge in Dharapani.
Day 2 Dharapani – Chame

(2550m – 5h)

After 5hours of walking we reach at Chame. Night in lodge
Day 3 Chame – Pisang

(3300m – 5h)

We cross several Gurung villages. Very nice view of the Himalayan chain of Manaslu to Annapurna II.

Day 4 Pisang – Ngawal

(3600m – 4h)

Arrive at high altitude in the Marsyangdi valley north of Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna and Mt. Tilicho. Then, we visit the monastery of Pisang. In the afternoon we arrive in Ngawal. Ngawal is an old Tibetan village with monastery, Chortens and fantastic view of Annapurnas II, III, IV, Gangapurna and Mount Tilicho. In the afternoon we arrive in Ngawal, a typical Tibetan village.

Day 5 Ngawal – Manang

(3550m – 4/5h)

After walking few hours we reach the Mungji and Braga village, beautiful Tibetan village, here we can visit the monastery which is 500 years ago; we then rejoin Manang.

Day 6 Manang – Khangshar (3800m) – Tilicho Base Camp (4200m – 5h) Following the Marsyangdi River, we go up to Khangsar, the last village in the region. Then we continue to the Tilicho Base Camp

Day 7 Tilicho Base Camp 4/5 hours of walking we can see the lake which is about 5000 m above sea level. The lake is a Hindu pilgrimage site linked to the Ramayana. Spectacular view of the Annapurna and Tilicho Peak (7134 m). The edge of the lake, dotted with wild flowers in spring and summer.


Day 8 Tilicho Base Camp – Manang – Ledar (4230m) After 5 hour of walking we reach at Ledar.

Day 10 High Camp – Thorong Pass(5416m) – Jharkot (3600m – 8h)


Early in the morning after walking 3h 30 we reach at the Thorong pass then steep down to Muktinath. First village of Mustang and religious place for Buddhists and Hindus. Visit the small temple of Muktinath. Night in Jarkhot,

Day 11 Jharkot – Lupra – Jomsom (2800m – 5h) Walking down to Lupra village. Then, we reach at Jomsom.
